Therapeutic SUPPORT

Privately Funded Therapy

Courageous Minds offers privately funded therapeutic supports for individuals seeking mental health counselling, emotional regulation support and wellbeing‑focused therapy outside of the NDIS. Our therapy is person‑centred, trauma‑informed and grounded in evidence‑based mental health practice.

Private & Third‑Party Funded Therapy

We accept referrals for:

  • Privately funded therapy

  • Third‑party funded therapy (e.g. private health insurers, case management organisations, employer‑funded wellbeing programs)

  • Melbourne City Mission's Family Reconciliation Mediation Program (FRMP). This program supports young people aged 12 to 25 who are experiencing family conflict or disconnection. Eligible participants can access therapeutic support through FRMP funding once approved. A case manager must be involved and is required to complete the referral directly to confirm eligibility and to authorise the use of FRMP funds for therapy sessions with our service.

  • Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP)

This provides flexible access to therapeutic supports for individuals and families who prefer private services or who are funded through external organisations.
