NDIS-FUNDED SupportS

Courageous Minds is an NDIS Registered Provider delivering NDIS‑funded Therapy and Behaviour Support for children, young people and adults across regional and rural communities. Our work is person‑centred, trauma‑informed, neurodiversity‑affirming and grounded in evidence‑based practice. We support participants to understand their experiences, manage emotions, reduce behaviours of concern and build practical skills for daily life.

Therapy Supports

Our therapeutic supports focus on mental health, emotional wellbeing and relationship development. We help participants build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation and improve daily functioning across home, school and community environments.

Therapy may include:

  • Mental health counselling

  • Emotional regulation support

  • Coping skills development

  • Support for anxiety, stress and emotional overwhelm

  • Psychoeducation for participants and families

  • Relationship and communication skill building

  • Support with daily functioning and independence

  • Early intervention for children and young people

  • Therapeutic support for confidence, communication and emotional skills

  • Collaborative therapeutic planning with care teams

 

How therapy is delivered:

  • Outreach sessions in the home

  • In our office

  • In community environments

  • Via telehealth

Participants can receive support in the environment that feels safest and most comfortable.

Behaviour Support

Courageous Minds is an NDIS Registered Provider for Behaviour Support. We deliver evidence‑based, person‑centred Behaviour Support for individuals with behaviours of concern, complex needs or emotional dysregulation. Our focus is on understanding the function of behaviour, reducing behaviours of concern and improving quality of life across all settings.

Behaviour Support may include:

  • Functional Behaviour Assessments

  • Interim Behaviour Support Plans

  • Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans

  • Ongoing behaviour support intervention

  • Training and coaching for families, support workers and educators

  • Collaborative planning with care teams

 

How Behaviour Support is delivered:

  • Outreach sessions in the home

  • In schools and early learning settings

  • In community environments

  • In our office

  • Via telehealth

 

We work closely with families, educators, support workers and allied health professionals to ensure strategies are practical, consistent and effective.
